Melrose Plantation

A Harvest Host destination

When we left East Texas beginning our travels, our first stop - for an overnight rest - was Melrose Plantation just north of Alexandria, Louisiana. The plantation is a member of Harvest Hosts (harvests.com), a service that describes itself as follows:

"We are a network of wineries, breweries, distilleries, farms, and attractions that invite RVers to stay in 2521+ stunning camping sites. The $99 yearly membership gives members unlimited access to stay overnight at any one of our Host‘s locations."

Unfortunately, there was a large group coming in the following morning so we had to leave early so as to not get blocked into the rear of the parking lot.

These are photos I took on that stop. Click on any image to enlarge and scroll through them.
